Quiet September in Muskoka

We've stayed at Rosseau Reflections many times over the years, and will be returning again soon. The property is beautiful, the cottage is spacious (but with a cozy feel!), and it has every amenity to make our vacation comfortable and relaxing. From quiet mornings in the Muskoka room with my coffee, to afternoons swimming and paddling in beautiful Lake Rosseau, to gorgeous sunsets on the boathouse deck, this is the perfect spot to spend our precious vacation time.

Nice Vibe

Great view across the lake. Enjoyed sitting on the many different decks, especially cocktail hour on the boat house at sunset. The cottage has a great balance of rustic charm (love the three stone fireplaces) along with every modern amenity you'd want. This cottage has a lovely vibe.

Great stay

Spent many great nights at this cottage. Very cozy, has all that we needed, close to all amenities you'd want. There is shallow sandy beach for kids, and deeper water for a refreshing jump in the lake. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Time after time...

We've had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage multiple times and always have an amazing experience. Really enjoyed drinks on the boathouse and watching the gorgeous sunsets. The kids had a blast in the little Cove that has a great Sandy Beach. This place is very cozy and comes complete with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. We loved the fact we were very close to Rosseau which made it convenient to get supplies if needed.

Girls vacation!

A cottage with all the mod-cons that exudes casual elegance. Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces for group activities or to sit alone and be one with the breathtaking Muskoka scenery. Good road access with a short drive to amenities one would need (read LCBO and a general store for overpriced bog roll). Quiet bay for swimming and other water sports such as paddle-boarding and kayaking. Sunshine all day and spectacular sunsets. And, quite possibly, the wonderful haunting sound of a loon or two in the late evening.

Nice spot

Peaceful part of Lake Rosseau. Loved sunset cocktails on the boathouse roof. Very cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. Great location close to the town of Rosseau for $25 toilet paper (2 rolls) and leisurely lunches at Crossroads. Ok you can leave out that last bit.

Cozy with modern comforts

If you're looking for a peaceful winter getaway, this charming cottage is the perfect escape. The sweeping vistas are absolutely breathtaking, especially when you're curled up by the cozy wood-burning fireplace(s). For those who love the outdoors, the well-maintained road offers a serene walk, and we often spot deer, red foxes, and even the occasional hare. The kitchen is a delight, equipped with quality appliances that make cooking a joy. We've even braved the cold and enjoyed grilling on the charcoal BBQ a few times! The dining room comfortably seats a large group, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can easily forget the outside world and enjoy meals with family and friends. The bedrooms are simple yet cozy, with comfortable mattresses that ensure a restful night's sleep. The great room is ideal for unwinding, whether you're watching a movie or binge-watching your favorite series on the large TV. With fast and reliable internet, I can even get a bit of work done when needed. Conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants, the cottage offers the best of both worlds – a peaceful retreat with easy access to everything you might need. Our family has treasured this little slice of heaven for years, and we look forward to many more stays in the future.

Great visit

Summer at this cottage truly brings out the best in our family. Whether it's swimming in the lake or simply floating peacefully, every moment feels refreshing and relaxing. We especially love cooking outdoors and dining on the expansive deck, where entertaining friends and family is always a highlight. We enjoy gathering around the outdoor fire pit, the perfect spot for sharing stories and roasting marshmallows under the stars. The bedrooms are easy to maintain, and the mattresses are very comfortable for a restful night's sleep. For a quiet moment, the screened-in porch is our favorite place to sit with a hot cup of coffee or tea before the rest of the family wakes up. This cottage has provided us with countless cherished memories, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Repeat Guest

We've stayed at Rosseau Reflections on multiple occasions, and each visit was a delight! The cottage was spacious, very clean, and included a lovely screened-in Muskoka room and large, comfortable family room. The property was equipped with everything we needed and more, especially in the kitchen. The large deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffees and afternoon cocktails, and we spent lots of time down at the sandy shoreline. The boathouse deck was a beautiful spot to enjoy meals together. We loved our time at this gorgeous Muskoka property, and we can't wait to return again soon!
